Coconut Grove – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s The Barnacle Historic State Park, in conjunction with The Barnacle Society, presents The Barnacle Under Moonlight Concert Series. Join us on Friday, January 11th, at 7 pm as Four Shillings Short returns to our outdoor stage.
With over a decade of touring in the US and Ireland under their belts, the husband and wife duo of Aodh Og O’Tuama from Cork, Ireland and Californian Christy Martin live as full time minstrels. In a single night, they perform Traditional Irish and Scottish songs, tunes and airs, Indian Ragas, Folk Ballads, Old-Time songs, Medieval and Renaissance instrumentals and a cappella numbers as well as contemporary folk and original compositions.
Picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs are welcome. No pets, please, during evening events. Service animals are welcome in all areas at any event. Accessible facilities are available.
Concerts are sponsored by The Barnacle Society, Inc., a volunteer non-profit, citizen-supported organization created to generate public awareness, education, and financial support for the preservation and maintenance of The Barnacle Historic State Park. The Barnacle, located at 3485 Main Hwy in Coconut Grove, is a Florida State Park administered by the Department of Environmental Protection.
