Back to Bach Festival at the Miami Conservatory of Music in Coconut Grove
Saturday & Sunday, March 9 -10
During this 2 day festival (March 09 & 10), string and orchestra students from the conservatory will open the program followed by professional pianists, guitarists and string musicians.
Performances on these 2 afternoons will start at 4pm and will extend into the evening. Tickets are $10
On Saturday, March 9th, internationally renowned duo and solo pianists and composers Kirk Whipple & Marilyn Morales will amaze you with their approach of Bach. They will be followed by the guitarist Jose Alfredo Fernandez. Young students are also invited to discover one of the greatest composers of all time in a welcoming environment.
On Sunday, March 10, a wonderful musician, Udi Bar-David of the Philadelphia Orchestra, will play and present a “Deconstructed” and “Classical” Bach. Udi is widely considered as one of the most versatile cellists in the world today. Guest artists to include Yueh-yin Liao and Andres Trujillo.
Tickets: Per Day- $15 adults, $10 Students online; Two Day Package- $25 Adults, $15 Students online. $5 extra if purchased at the door on the day of the event.
All events will take place at the Miami Conservatory of Music Hall and start at 4PM. 2911 Grand Avenue, Coconut Grove, FL 33133. (Next to the Improv by the Mayfair Fountain)
