The Coconut Grove Arts & Historical Association, Inc. is proud to announce that the Coconut Grove Arts Festival will be returning in February 2013 for the 50th annual event.
The exact dates of the Festival, which will be celebrating its Golden Anniversary, are February 16, 17, 18, 2013. The Festival will be open to the public from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm daily.
Due to the requirements necessary to set up for the Festival, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival requested permission from the City of Miami to close the following streets:
McFarlane Road from Main Highway to Mary Street and Mary Street from Grand Avenue to South Bayshore Drive beginning at 10:00 am on Friday, February 15, 2013
South Bayshore Drive from Mary Street to SW 27th Avenue and SW 27th Avenue between Tigertail and South Bayshore Drive at 1:00 pm; and South Bayshore Drive from Chart House Road to Mary Street, Pan American Drive from South Bayshore to Chart House Road at 3:00 pm on Friday, February, 15, 2013.
These streets will remain closed until approximately 11:00 pm on Monday, February 18. In addition, there will be detours set up by the Miami Police Department to facilitate smooth traffic flow during the Festival.
These detours will be primarily located on the South Bayshore Drive at Aviation Avenue and Tigertail between Aviation Avenue and SW 27th Avenue.
LED message boards will be located on Main Highway and South Bayshore Drive several days prior to the Festival alerting motorists to the street closures.
If you are a business in Coconut Grove, please make alternate arrangements for any deliveries during this time period.
