Workshop 12/6/2012: Learn how to open a business in Miami Dade

The Coconut Grove Business Improvement District is proud to announce that Miami Dade County is hosting a workshop dedicated to teaching individuals on how to open a business in Dade County.

(MIAMI, November 7, 2012) –– In an effort to promote economic growth and development, the Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources (RER) will continue its series of FREE workshops to educate the public on the steps required to open a business in Miami-Dade County.  The workshop will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at 12:30 p.m. at the Miami-Dade County Permitting and Inspection Center located at 11805 SW 26th Street.

County staff will be available to answer questions and share their expertise on the necessary tools to start and operate a successful business.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn the ABC’s of opening a business, including how to obtain a Certificate of Use, a Local Business Tax receipt, a Home Business License, Permits and Registration, and essential insurance coverage for all small businesses.  In addition, find out about the Green Business Certification Program and the County’s Commercial Rebate Program.
